Locum Tenens
I can be hired to provide temporary counselling to your clients (in Alberta) if you need to step away from your practice on a short-term or long-term basis. I can also be hired ahead of time to provide transitional and stabilizing care in the event you suddenly pass away.
Long-Term File Custody
Who is going to take on your client’s files upon your death, retirement, move out of country, or critical illness? For a fee proportional to the volume of your paper records, I may agree to provide stewardship of your files to protect your clients and legacy (Albertan practitioners only).
Contingency Plan Development
Do you have a written plan for your professional practice in the event of your sudden death, long-term or permanent incapacitation? You can hire me to help you get your plans in order to protect your practice. We do all the detailed work, and then you take it to a lawyer (we have a list if you need one) to have it formalized.
Designated Administrator
Who is going to unlock your office, protect your clients’ information, and clean things up if you die suddenly? Is the plan to leave it to your spouse? Please let us help. We can be hired by selected Albertan clients to travel to their place of work and provide this service that we hope you never need.
